I absolutely loved the ambience, staff, and room at Tamara. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings and very spacious bathrooms, offering a stunning view of the opposite range. The staff is equally excellent in their roles, making the overall stay delightful.

The staff at Tamara are all equally fantastic and go above and beyond to assist. Shetty was particularly responsive and accommodating. I also recommend trying the authentic Coorgi food, such as the Pork pepper fry.

Tamara is nestled in complete wilderness, spread across a vast 180 acres in the midst of the Coorg Valley, away from the city noise. The location is a perfect backdrop for a relaxing holiday, although it can be a bit tricky to reach after sunset.

The best suite at Tamara is truly on another level with its wooden architecture, amazing view, huge cottage, and luxurious interiors. However, it is not totally soundproof and was adjacent to a waterfall. The hotel has ambitious plans to expand to 1000 rooms by 2025.

My stay here was absolutely amazing! The rooms were amazing with a huge balcony area, providing a great space to relax. The service was top-notch, with the staff being so good and helpful in every way. The location felt like a beautiful forested oasis, offering a calming and peaceful environment. The dining experience was delicious, with a plethora of options to choose from. A truly wonderful experience overall.
